"Will you marry me?". The question we long to hear and the question that will change our lives forever. The beautiful idea that two people will promise themselves solely to one another for the remainder of their life is no small gesture. Only true love and promise can lead a person to ask this of their significant other and only the purest of love will get them that "Yes" answer they are so desperate to hear in return.

When you're a military spouse though you are not only promising yourself to your soon to be husband but you are vowing your life to the United States Military as well. But wait you never enlisted right? You never relinquished some of your freedoms to the government right? So how are you giving yourself to the military? The answer is simple, you are marrying a soldier and that soldier is a package deal with the military. His job is his identity and he has not only promised to love and protect you but he has sworn to do the same for America.

It's a lot to take in and I'm sure you weren't dreaming about spending months alone while you're husband puts himself in harms way to protect your rights. You also probably didn't fantasize about being told where to live and how long you can live there. All these extra stipulations and guidelines you're required to follow because you love a man who loves his country. You didn't know you were strong enough to handle all of this but you are and we are proud of you.

We all experience military wife life a little different but in the end we all face the same battles at one point. I'm here for you and to share some tips of overcoming the biggest challenges that your life will face while being among the military community. We're all in this together and we got this!
