It’s Nice To Meet You

Welcome to my Milso journey, I’m so proud that I am able to share it with you! I’m your editor and host Izzy Poole!

When I dive into reading and podcasts it is an important factor for me to know the writer so I can understand their voice, so I thought why not give y’all a little introduction to the page and to myself!

I am an Army wife to a very noble man who holds every piece of my heart! We are parents to two adorable fur babies who run the show at home! Besides my hobbies writing and podcasting you will pretty much find me binge watching Netflix or redecorating my house. I am very proud to be an army wife and find it an honor to be amongst this community. I started this blog, along with a podcast to contribute and provide more content, because when I emerged into this lifestyle after getting married I found there was a lack of information out there for me to get my hands on!

Of course there were pamphlets on benefits and and the basic stats on military life but I wanted something more, something engaging and personal! I wanted to hear from real women who had been through it and knew what it takes! So I decided to build that platform so military wives have a place they can turn to and find women who have been through the same things and have advice. A place where you can turn to for advice on PCSing or some where to look to just to know you aren’t the only one!

My visual podcast will correlate with the blog and it will cover the topics I post on here about but with a more conversational approach! I will be having guests on periodically to shed light on topics that need to be addressed! I’d Love to hear what you want covered as well! If it’s PCS hacks or tips on making friends I’d love to share my experience with you!
